Prezzy ideas

Coolest pint glasses ever.
Do you know when Sheckler's birthday is? Or Kyle Leeper's, or Colin Provost's? Yeah I know you might not care, but if you had this Thrasher calendar you could at least put your own on it and hang it where other people can see it.
Lots of good skate tools, and Shoe Goo is always handy, but don't get it on your hands.
"You got any wax?"

Little Ripper

This little guy's not quite ruling Youtube yet, but he's the youngest ripper we know who's "riding" skateboards right now. (probably followed soon by Rob's little guy Isaac)
This is Greg's son Jack, who just turned 1 about a month ago. He's obviously surrounded by skate stuff all the time, and by the tales of his proud papa has a real natural interest. Always watching, playing, and now rolling on a board, if he can get a hold of one.

It looks like he gets his fingers nice and juicy, then tries to lube up the bearings more. He's got a need for speed! Or he's just checking the axle nut.

Digging the rails, easier for those little hands to do grabs!

Wowsers

I bought these 2 gems from a Hare Krsna today. He was in regular clothes, so I didn't have any idea, but as soon as he walked in the store I could tell he was selling something. He said he had no scams, not even any prices, he just accepted donations. Well what I offered apparently wasn't enough of a "donation", so we haggled. He said people gave anywhere from 8-20 bucks for each, so I offered him 10 bucks but I wanted three. We settled at 9 bucks for two. He insisted the wholesale cost was 3 bucks, but if he paid any more than 25 cents for them, well, he must be, uhh, crazy. But then again, I paid $4.50 each. Oh well, he's a traveling spirit. I like to help.
Most of them were pretty cheeseball, but some (like these) were amazing.
You have to see them in person for all the colours man.
This one is potential album cover art for Full Grip.

He pulled out this pamphlet, and wanted to talk me through it. I convinced him to just leave it with me.

It looks like everyone's having fun anyway.

More fun,
Don't know about this guy though.
Here's the dude on the cover, kickin out the jams,

Yeah, I know, random post. Whatever floats your boat.

Uptown Shred Sesh

We got about a foot of snow Friday night, so skate season is pretty much dunski. (til the next thaw anyway, and if you have an indoor spot, let us know!)
While I was getting ready to go for a shred with Jermaine after work, Dave decided he was gonna mess around on the ramp in front of the store.
The weapons of choice, a 5 year old Dominant, or a Blind skate deck. Dave chose the Blind.
Donning his Vans jacket with the Maiden backpatch, and check the "boots".
Es Theorys, with plastic bags.

Shaping...
Getting psyched...
Bomb dropping!
The make! Just to stay standing on a pump to fakie was a trick. Meanwhile, I was doing airs, inverts, and laybacks but Dave was too selfish to take pictures. (Just kidding, none of that happened, yes it did. No it didn't)
Serious cliff drop...

More Little Ruler stuff

Do you have a baby? Are you considering a child? Maybe you made one by accident, and you'd like to put a million miles between you and your baby mama. Well before you head for the hills you might want to take a look at how cool you can dress that little bundle of poo and noise. We just got a new shipment of Little Ruler gear in, just in time for Festivus. Awesome gifts.
Here's an Indy onesie. We have lots of other sizes and styles of indy ones, and some Thrasher tees and onesies too.

This little coach jacket is so awesome.

Little Indy meshers and beanies, so adorable!!!

And if all that stuff isn't enough, little Chucks!

Here's a crappy picture (she wouldn't pose) of Ella helping me price and arrange all the new stuff. Looks awesome on boys and girls!

Give the gift of Cruise

Here are some cruisers we have set up right now. Keep in mind we can put together whatever you want. These are just fun to set up, so we can take em apart to if you want something a little diffferent.
Here's a couple big wide bodies. The Salba Bevel has wide Kruxeses and 65mm softies. The Creature is a pretty limited Jeremy Fish graphic, #51 of 300, with Indys and 66mm Gravity softies.
3 from SHUT Skates. Frost Pink, Local 158, and the SIFU. All with Indys and big soft wheels.
A couple Vets Div. boards, Zero Garret Hill, and a killer Grosso with Label wheels. All with Indys of course.
And if a traditional longboard is more your style, we have a few right here. Riviera and a couple Surf Ones.
Here's a couple retro minis, perfect for the kids of old gnarlers.
"Boy, when I was a kid we..."
"yeah Dad, me too."
Then a complete from Golden Dragon, Caballero's affordable line.
And finally, the "blank complete", which I think we should stop calling them. No longer does it have the generic blank components of yesteryear, now you get a Pro Skates deck, Bullet trucks, and Powell minilogo wheels, good quality stuff, for a good price.
And a few other items that would make good gifts, if you're starting to shop.
Anti-Hero thermos and pocket flask. One's for coffee, one's for whiskey, you can decide which.
Some other trinkets of skatiness.
Mmmm, warm. Now your hands and feet can match your wheels.

Perfect gifts for Indy fans. Things to drink with, help keep your pants on, and wake you up.
And lastly for today, the latest tee shirt. The Thing. Support Thrillema.

CHEESE!

After a lovely meal of sushi with Megan and Zach, Cheese and I stopped back at Uptown to hit the jam spot.
It was just the two of us, so we took turns on the guitar and drums. Cheese getting geared up for the skins.

And then it was Dave's turn on geetar...
And things got emotional,
Very emotional.
Here's Cheese getting his face melted,
And pleading with the gods of rock for the return of Blackout77.

Slippery Dreams

Isolation can play tricks on a man's mind. Once the noose of insanity starts to crush the trachea of reason, nipple licking becomes the norm. Uptown, what the hell is going on up there?

Gnew gnar.

Things have been insane at the UT these days, we had two people in today AT THE SAME TIME. Here's what they came across.

New tees from CREATURE and REAL. Remember we stock the widest selection of old school skate tees on Quinpool road.
Darting season is soon upon us, Krooked and Spitfire gloves have nothing to do with that.
New flannel from Anti Hero and Spitfire. Hung eats this shit for dim sum so move fast.
.Reading is a pleasure not a chore. These books have lots of pictures too.We are DEVO cruisers.
